Reframer ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

Photos you upload. When you use Reframer to restore a photo, the image is sent to our server for processing. Photos are used solely to generate your enhanced result and are deleted from our server immediately after the restored version is returned to your device.

Usage data. We collect anonymous, aggregated usage metrics such as app opens, features used, and number of enhancements performed. This data cannot be tied to your identity and is used only to improve the app.

Payment data. Subscriptions and purchases are handled entirely through the Apple App Store via RevenueCat. We never receive, store, or have access to your payment details, credit card number, or Apple ID.

How Photos Are Processed

When you enhance a photo, the image is transmitted securely (via HTTPS) to Reframer's server, where it is forwarded to OpenAI's image API for restoration. The enhanced image is returned to your device, and both the original and processed versions are deleted from our server immediately.

During processing, OpenAI's data usage policies apply to the image while it is handled by their API.

What We Do Not Collect

• No account or login is required to use the free tier
• No photos are stored, archived, or used for training after processing
• No location data, contacts, or device identifiers are collected
• No data is sold or shared with third parties for advertising purposes

Third-Party Services

Reframer uses the following third-party services:

• OpenAI — processes photos for AI restoration
• RevenueCat — manages subscriptions and in-app purchases
• Analytics — anonymous usage metrics to improve the app experience

Data Security

All communication between your device and our servers uses HTTPS encryption. Our API keys are stored exclusively on the server and are never exposed to the client app. We enforce per-user rate limiting to prevent abuse.

Children's Privacy

Reframer is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and notify users through the app. Continued use of Reframer after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
